RYKER LARAMORE (he/him/they/them)

an independent artist with a passion for perspective, born and raised in Tallahassee. Alumnus from Florida State University with an M.A./B.F.A in Dance and Studio Related Studies.

I remember flipping through photo albums as a tyke, closely studying my mom as she scrap-booked individual moments into a bound collection of memories. Ever since then, I've got my hands on a handful of digital cameras and a few film cameras.

I've found great use for my training and experience with dance in my photographic work as I primarily focus on bodies and movement as subjects. I've spent most of my time snapping people as they pass through the town I've called home my whole life and the few individuals I've gotten close with in my travels. I currently reside in Miami, Florida and continue to dream about the faces and spaces I have not yet met.
